A Bold New Year for FMOP

Dear FMOP Members,

As we step into 2026, we do so with renewed energy, confidence, and ambition for the future of Facilities Management in the Philippines.

This year is not just about turning the page; it is about raising the bar.

Together, we will continue to strengthen the FM profession, elevate standards, and build a community that leads with competence, credibility, and purpose. FMOP remains firmly committed to advancing professional excellence, sharing practical knowledge, and championing the value of facilities management across every sector.

We are especially excited about our growing collaboration with IFMA through LEORON. Through this partnership, we are bringing world-class training and globally recognized certifications, including FMP and CFM, closer to home empowering Filipino FM professionals to compete and lead on a global stage. In the same spirit of global alignment, FMOP is also rolling out Housekeeping Training Programs developed in line with an international standards framework, with accreditation underway, to strengthen soft services capability and raise day-to-day service excellence across the industry.

In parallel, FMOP will continue working with national legislative stakeholders to advance our shared agenda: to institutionalize facilities management as a recognized profession, establish a national FM governance framework, and support the development of clear pathways for practitioners across the country. This is long-term work but essential work and 2026 marks another decisive step forward.

A key milestone this year will be the FMOP General Assembly in October, our flagship gathering of FM professionals, industry leaders, service providers, and decision-makers. The General Assembly will be a platform for insightful dialogue, practical learning, and meaningful collaboration, culminating in the FMOP Awards, where we proudly recognize excellence and outstanding contributions within the Philippine FM community.
