FMOP Supports FRONTRUN Event at Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna

21 March 2026

The Facilities Management Organization of the Philippines (FMOP) is pleased to have supported the FRONTRUN event at Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna, as part of its continued engagement with future professionals in the facilities management sector.

The event provided students with the opportunity to gain insights from industry practitioners, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application in facilities management and sustainability.

Representing the FMOP community were FMOP Directors Ernest Otoo (Director of Facilities, Ayala Malls) and Jonathan Co (General Manager, Manly Plastics and Sentinel Upcycling Technologies). Ernest delivered a talk on facilities management, sharing practical perspectives on managing facilities, while Jonathan discussed sustainability and its importance in today’s operating environments. FMOP President Christian Lu also joined in support of the initiative.

Through engagements such as this, FMOP continues to strengthen its connection with the academic community, providing future professionals with exposure to industry practices and insights from experienced leaders.

This initiative reflects FMOP’s role in supporting future FM professionals and promoting sustainability in facilities and operations. As the industry continues to evolve, early engagement and collaboration remain essential in building a stronger and more capable facilities management community in the Philippines.
